1. The service

NIS2PME is an open-source platform (AGPL-3.0 licence) supporting compliance with the Portuguese cyberspace security legal framework (Decree-Law 125/2025), based on the National Cybersecurity Reference Framework (QNRCS 2026). The software is available at https://github.com/nis2pme/platform and can be deployed free of charge on your own infrastructure.

2. Demo accounts

Accounts created at app.nis2pme.pt are demo accounts, subject to the following conditions:

  • Purpose: they are exclusively for evaluating the platform, not for production use;
  • Duration: the account and all associated data are automatically deleted 14 days after creation, with no possibility of recovery;
  • Data: do not enter sensitive or confidential company data (or third parties' personal data). Use representative or fictitious data. For real use with real data, deploy the platform on your own infrastructure;
  • Acceptable use: using demo accounts for any unlawful purpose, for unauthorised security testing of the service, or in a way that degrades the service for other users is prohibited.

The website, the platform and the demo accounts are provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, under the terms of the AGPL-3.0 licence. In particular:

  • the platform is a support tool and does not constitute legal advice; using the platform does not, by itself, guarantee your organisation's legal compliance;
  • the platform is based on the public consultation draft of the QNRCS 2026; its content will be updated when the final version is published, which may result in changes to the controls presented;
  • to the maximum extent permitted by law, the author is not liable for damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service.

4. Intellectual property
